Quality Inspector Technician

Hours: Mon-Thurs 8am-4.45pm, Fri – 8am – 3pm.
Skills Required:
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Quality control experience essential.
- Computer literate in Word and Excel
- Experience in Folding, Welding and Assembly.
Role Responsibilities:
- To ensure staff are carrying out work to the customer specifications and drawings.
- To liaise with engineering to improve the efficiency and quality of how customer jobs are manufactured.
- To help build a quality culture by helping and training staff in the best practices and methods of manufacture.
- To monitor jobs flowing through production, keeping an eye on the quality of the parts being produced.
- To check and inspect all new products before delivery to customer.
- To maintain all machinery and tooling to enable safe and efficient running and to produce work to the best quality possible.
- To help production supervisor and management ensure that staff works strictly within the guidelines set in the health and safety policy and that correct use of PPE is worn.
- To maintain, restore and fix any fixtures and fittings around the premises and undertake any improvements that are required.
